Synopsis:
Set 3 years after the death of NIS (National Intelligence Service) agent Kim Hyeon-Jun (Lee Byung-Hun) by terrorist group IRIS. At a warehouse that sells arms illegally, NSS (National Security Service) team leader Joon-Han (Sung Dong-Il) sees Detective Yoo-Gun (Jang Hyuk) and asks him to work with him as an NSS agent.
Later, Yoo-Gun (Jang Hyuk) becomes a team leader for the NSS TF-A team. Soo-Yeon (Lee Da-Hae), who has loved Yoo-Gun (Jang Hyuk) since they were young, begins to work as an NSS agent as well. Choi Min (Oh Yeon-Su) is newly appointed as the NSS deputy director. Her only purpose is to take down IRIS.
NSS ex-director Baek San (Kim Young-Chul) has been incarcerated at the NSS prison, located on a remote island. A helicopter requests to land on the island and identifies themselves as NSS agents. After landing, they suddenly open fire on NSS agents. They are actually IRIS members. They are led by Ray (David McInnis) and takes Baek San (Kim Young-Chul) out of prison. But when the helicopter leaves the island, Baek San (Kim Young-Chul) jumps out of the helicopter and into the ocean.
Yoo-Gun (Jang Hyuk), Soo-Yeon (Lee Da-Hae) and Hyun-Woo (Yoon Doo-Joon) arrives on the island. Soo-Yeon (Lee Da-Hae) is caught by Baek San (Kim Young-Chul), who points a gun at her. Yoo-Gun (Jang Hyuk) tries to mediate with Baek San (Kim Young-Chul) but Hyun-Woo (Yoon Doo-Joon) fires from long range towards Baek San (Kim Young-Chul). Soo-Yeon (Lee Da-Hae) is shot and taken to the hospital.
Baek San (Kim Young-Chul) is moved to a NSS secret house. There, Baek San (Kim Young-Chul) is interrogated by Yoo-Gun (Jang Hyuk). He wants to know why he, Baek San (Kim Young-Chul), turned himself in and why IRIS tried to take him, but Baek San (Kim Young-Chul) stays silent. Baek San (Kim Young-Chul) only asks for 3 newspapers to read daily. The NSS team tries to find if there are any secret code hidden within the newspapers but finds nothing.
At this time, IRIS members approach the NSS secret house. A gun fight erupts between IRIS and NSS agents. Yoo-Gun (Jang Hyuk) takes Baek San (Kim Young-Chul) out of the secret house and runs to a car with Baek San (Kim Young-Chul). IRIS chases after the car with Baek San (Kim Young-Chul). Yoo-Gun (Jang Hyuk) is able to get to a military base and they are temporarily safe from IRIS. Yoo-Gun (Jang Hyuk) and NSS deputy director Choi Min (Oh Yeon-Su) begin to suspect that there's an IRIS mole within the NSS ranks.
Baek San (Kim Young-Chul) finally reveals to the NSS agents that IRIS may launch an attack in Hungary, where high level meetings between North and South Korea are about to take place. He's unsure if IRIS is targeting North or South Korea.
Meanwhile, Soo-Yeon (Lee Da-Hae) is now recovered. Even though Yoo-Gun (Jang Hyuk) opposes, Soo-Yeon (Lee Da-Hae) goes to Hungary with the NSS team. Meanwhile, Yeon-Hwa (Lim Soo-Hyang) from IRIS arrives in Hungary and plots out their scheme. ; There's also Joong-Won (Lee Beom-Soo), who escaped from North Korea, and appears in Hungary by Yeon-Hwa's (Lim Soo-Hyang) request.

Synopsis:
Four men leave prison, each facing an uncertain future – The first one, Li Tian Ming (Tay Ping Hui), had been a hot headed and emotional man who owned a moving company. He was originally leading a happy and contented life, not knowing that his wife, Huang Hai Tang, was having an affair with her qigong master, Wang Xiao Tian. Then, his sister, Li Chun Li, ganged up with her husband, Xiong Zheng Hui, to cheat their mother of her life savings. Thus the siblings became bitter enemies. Once, in a fight, Li Tian Ming accidentally chopped Xiong Zheng Hui’s hand, and was sentenced to jail. Just before he was released, he received news that his mother had passed away, and that his wife was asking for a divorce. Li Tian Ming had suddenly lost everything, including his house and daughter, to Wang Xiao Tian.
The second one, Jin Yong Cheng (Terence Cao) used to be an alcoholic gambler, who hit his wife. Thus his wife took his daughter, Jin Hui Chen, and committed suicide. Luckily Jin Yong Cheng arrived in time to rescue his daughter, but was too late to save his wife. As he was guilt ridden and drank even more, he killed Ye Zhi Bin’s cousin while drink-driving and was sentenced to prison. With her mother dead and father in prison, Jin Hui Chen became rebellious with a hatred for her father. Her father was in no position to discipline her, and she had a reputation for being a wild and problematic child.
The third one, Ye Zhi Bin (Zhang Zhen Huan) had been the chief financial officer of a finance company. He was timid, hardworking and lacked ambition. However, he had a greedy wife, Wang Zi Yu, who was very materialistic. As Ye Zhi Bin had to satisfy her demands, he embezzled from his company and was sentenced to 5 years in prison.
Finally the fourth one, Xu Hao Long (Andie Chen) came from a wealthy family, but his parents had divorced and lived abroad. His grandfather had raised him up, and he had been thrown into jail for violence. Just before he was sentenced, he had a girlfriend, Liu Shu Yuan, with whom he wanted to marry. However, they broke off after that. Xu Hao Long was also a HIV positive patient, who was infected after a prostitute with Aids pricked him with a contaminated needle after a quarrel, when he was working as a nurse. He hit her back in anger and was thus sentenced to prison. In prison, he worked hard to accumulate legal knowledge and improve himself.
